THIS YEAR WE ARE CELEBRATING THE 75TH BIRTHDAY OF INDEPENDENT INDIA.To commemorate this occasion, more than 75,000 Indians will get together for #FreedomMarch on 15th August 2022 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The Freedom March will be the largest march in the history of independent India; it is an initiative to celebrate and honor the heroes of the country who contributed towards the freedom struggle and paved the way for a better tomorrow.

We urge every citizen to join us and make history. Become a part of the Freedom March by registering yourself through the form given below, and receive an exciting welcome kit at your doorstep for you to join the march in.

How to Participate

Step 1:

Kindly fill in the details for all the fields marked mandatory with the * sign.

Step 2:

Select the Welcome Kit items you require.

Step 3:

Click on the T-shirt size and select the appropriate option.

Step 4:

Hit the 'Submit' button.

Step 5:

Upon submitting your form, you will receive an OTP on the phone number you provide.

Step 6:

Update the OTP in the pop-up window. Click Verify and Submit.

Step 7:

A pop up message “Congratulations” will appear on the screen, which confirms that you have completed the registration process for the Freedom March.

Step 8:

Share the participation form on your Social Media handles (Facebook,Twitter and LinkedIn).

The Freedom March will begin on the 15th of August, 2022.

The march will commence at 2 PM.

The march will begin from Sangolli Rayana Circle and end at National College Grounds, Basvannagudi.

While you can join the march as per your convenience, we urge you to join from the very beginning.

The Freedom March is being organized to celebrate the 75th birthday of India’s Independence. The objective of this march is to remember and honour the freedom fighters for their struggle and sacrifice for the motherland. Through the march, it is our sincere effort to pay tribute to the heroes of India and Karnataka.

The march is being organized to commemorate the great freedom fighters of India and Karnataka, and to instil a spirit of patriotism in our people. Therefore, each and every resident of the state is welcome to participate in the march.

Yes, you can certainly bring along your family members to participate in the march.

Yes, students are most welcome to become a part of this march. We believe in fervently encouraging youth participation.

We encourage you to wear the t-shirt, badge and cap provided in the kit to bring the colours of our national flag to the spirit and the celebration of our 75th Independence Day.

It is important that you register first in order to join the march. Upon registering, you become entitled to receive the welcome kit and we will be provide you with the same. Prior registration also helps us prepare well for the march so that the event is conducted in a smooth, hassle-free manner.

You need to get yourself registered on the website, after which you will receive the welcome kit, which contains a t-shirt,badge and cap.

Yes, registration is not mandatory for participation. However, we strongly encourage you to register in advance as it will help us prepare well for the event on the 15th of August and provide you with the welcome kits.

The video contest is open for everyone to showcase their talent on the platform by making a two-minute video about the Kannada freedom fighters and their struggle to seek freedom for India. You are allowed to be as creative as you can; you may sing, dance, recite a poem, or deliver a speech, or do anything that you think best encapsulates your message. The videos are to be posted on any of your social media handle on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram with the hashtag #FreedomMarch. Please make sure that your profile is set to 'Public'. After posting the video online, submit the link to the post on our website www.freedommarch.in along with your contact number. Kindly follow these instructions carefully to stand a chance to win the contest.
